Automated Test Platform

The Automated Test Platform is a technical licensed component used to create automated tests for Sage X3 products using Cucumber tools.

Elasticsearch

If you are using Elasticsearch within your Sage X3 solution, Sage will strongly recommend installing the latest version of Elasticsearch (see prerequisites).

Installation of the patch

x3-patch-12.0.38.zip file

The patch must be updated using the Updates function of the Syracuse server (Administration > Utilities > Update > Updates).

The .zip file contains:

• DELIVERY: for externalized resources
• DIVPAT_Pxx: for presettings (Pxx related to the patch)
• FILES: for standard patches
• INDPAT_Pxx: for additional translations (Pxx related to the patch)
• LAN: for standard patch translations, except FRA-ENG

Manual actions

The import template DCLSIIDOC has been udpated

Setup > Usage > Imports/ exports > Import/Export templates (GESAOE)

The "SII external documents" template DCLSIIDOC has new fields.

The following fields have been added from the line 151 for Canarian SII needs:

AIEM, AIEMAMT, IIEE, IIEEAMT, TYPIIEE, EXEIIEE, REGSUS, REGTYP

The import template is updated and delivered in the X3 main folder only. To benefit from this import template, copy it from the function GESAOE, in X3 folder, using the button copy to update your child folders.

Automatic journals PIHI, PIHI2, PIHI3, and PIHI4 have been updated  

Setup > Financials > Accounting interface > Automatic journals (GESGAU) 

The lines below have been updated in the following automatic journals to retrieve the account defined by the user.

PIHI, PIHI2, PIHI3 and PIHI4 automatic journals, Line 25: 

• Update of the Account Formulas from Account Legal to Account Gen. ledger 10 with dimension account calculation. e.g. [F:CAL]ACC(1) for Analytical Account.

Note: Automatic journals are integrated into the X3 parent folder only. 
Before copying them manually to the X3 operating folder from the Automatic journals function (GESGAU), start the Automatic document comparison function (CMPGAU) to identify your variances.

The import template PHY has been udpated

Setup > Usage > Imports/ exports > Import/Export templates (GESAOE)

The physical asset import template PHY is now linked to a standard script IMPPHYSYR.

Functional controls are correctly performed when importing the assets.

The company code is determined using the site code.

The entry origin (CREORI) is defaulted to 1 and it is possible to get the other values (local menu 3162) by having them in the import file.

The import template is updated and delivered in the X3 main folder only. To benefit from this import template, copy it from the function GESAOE, in X3 folder, using the button copy to update your child folders.

FactoryOwner SAGE has been implemented on queries

• Query tool (GESALH)
• SQL query tool (GESALQ)
• Graphical query tool (GESALT)

This means that once the update is complete, the standard queries provided can no longer be modified.

If standard queries have been modified previously and you want to keep these modifications, you must duplicate them and rename them before updating.

Once the update is done, you will need to validate each SQL query tool (GESALQ) before running the queries.

For each child folder and for each query, perform the following actions (here for example on MANHLD query from SQL query tool (GESALQ))

Setup > Usage > Reports > SQL query tool (GESALQ)

• Select MANHLD and click the Validate button.
