Sage X3 Automated Test Platform Installation

Refer to the following documention for the third-party software compatible with Sage X3 Automated Test Platform

The compressed atp-2.9.0.1-win ZIP file contains the following folders and files:

• 01-ClientInstaller-updater:
  • sagex3atp-setup-2.9.0.1.jar:Setup file to install or upgrade to Sage X3 Automated Test Platform 2.9.0 on your local machine.

  To install or update Sage X3 Automated Test Platform on your local machine, refer to the installation documentation available on the online help center: Sage X3 Automated Test Platform - Client installer

  Important information before updating Sage X3 Automated Test Platform
  • The password to install or update Sage X3 Automated Test Platform was modified for security reasons.
  • If you have already installed Sage X3 Automated Test Platform you need to update your credentials to ensure you can install later updates.
  • Refer to the 03-NexusCredentials chapter to update the credentials on your local machine. Then update Sage X3 Automated Test Platform.
• 02-JenkinsPipelines:
  • ATP-TemplateRunAutomatedTests.xml: Sage X3 Automated Test Platform Jenkins template pipeline to use Sage X3 Automated Test Platform with Jenkins.

    Important information before updating Sage X3 Automated Test Platform
    • The password to install or update Sage X3 Automated Test Platform was modified for security reasons.
    • You need to update your credentials if you have already installed Jenkins and executed your ATP pipeline.
    • Refer to the 03-NexusCredentials chapter to update the credentials on the Jenkins server.
    • Refer to the online documentation to also update the credentials in Jenkins: Sage X3 Automated Test Platform - Jenkins installation and setup - Setting up Nexus repository credentials
• 03-NexusCredentials:
  • Nexus Credentials.txt: Login and password required during the installation process and to set the [ATP_Repository] credentials in Jenkins
  • sagex3atp-reset-credentials.bat
    Important information before updating Sage X3 Automated Test Platform
    • The password to update or install Sage X3 Automated Test Platform was modified for security reasons.
    • If you have already installed Sage X3 Automated Test Platform you need to update your credentials to ensure you can install later updates.
    1) Copy sagex3atp-reset-credentials.bat on your local machine and the Jenkins server.
    2) Double-click sagex3atp-reset-credentials.bat to execute the program.
    • On the Jenkins server, you need to log in with the same account as the account running the Jenkins service.
    • On your local machine, you need to log in with the same Windows account used to execute Sage X3 Automated Test Platform.
    3) After a few seconds, enter the [Nexus username] and [password] defined in Nexus Credentials.txt.
    4) The following success message is returned: Logged into scope @sageatp on https://repository.sagex3.com:8443/repository/atp-npm.

    

    5) You can now safely close the program.
